The Cosmixed Society was born in 1999 inspired by a „Cosmic Society“ party by Next time prod. Many indoor partys and at least once a year a great outdoor party happened through the power of many hands involved.

 In the magic place of Gutenbrunn (A) were some namable legendary events, where the true spirit of a great party was already to be experienced.
A warmhearted, family kind of atmosphere, with a true versatility of sound throughout the party in a wave building and sounding out, but with plenty of psychedelic “force” to squeeze the juice out of a lemon.

Subzero in Vienna was one of the indoor places where we got the city cooking also in the winter season for many years. But our biggest interest was in outdoor events. Also extending the distance of a party.

In Slovakia was the first “Cosmixed Society” Festival, which was again a very family atmosphere party, but the family network expanded and the many international acts playing there brought a nuu twist to it. It was a meeting place of long time friends, in a surrounding where you were really able to communicate spend time and enjoy together.

In 2006 “FUNNY MOON FESTIVAL” came to existence. And with this festival we got a glimpse of “OH, how far can you go”!

Before the festival everything seemed to fail, 4 Locations dropped, autorities would not cooperate, friends got “lost”, many technical problems or things missing… But it just happened, through itself.

It just wanted to be. And chaos became order…
 

 Everyone involved organizers and guests were drawn into this selfexisting experience, involving a deep confrontation with the self for everyone… a 10 day - life moving experience that involved a purely international lineup other commercial machines can only dream of.

Through the development of limitations to make a party like this in Austria and also because of the financial factor we decided to move next year to the Czech Republic. We wanted to ensure for the international crowd traveling to have a safe surrounding and a possibility also to be able to attend and enjoy the party with less investment.

So throughout 2007 (Meczirko, CZ… south of Prague) and 2008 (Usti Nad Laben… south of Dresden) a view things chrystallized in our minds:
“We are responsible” – for ourself first of all, but also for our surrounding, nature and that everything is done in the perfect moment so a wonderful festival space is created, but it became also clear what we are defiantly NOT responsible for: Superstars who’s ego has overgrown themselves so much that they need attendance to go to potty. For the loss of values or for people who are not able to take responsibility for their being.

We create a space for creators and not consumers. We are not professionals and we don’t use outgrown commercial recources to promote or finance our parties. We do it from the own pocket. But with the help of many other grownup children we always manage to create a magical and very respectable festival once every year.
