Right as in right to live, right to love, right to express, right to have peace……. Many more… Pretty easy to keep in mind, when you approach nature, other people and creatures. Everything has those rights the same rights as you do… Selfresponsiblity is the mother of Anarchy. When you respect yourself and nature and the nature given right of everyone to be treated with respect it is not only a beautiful festival, but you can carry the practice on to make it a more beautiful world. The more beautiful the festivals become the easier it is to make them. Here now some thoughts, that evolved through our festival experience you might want to take into consideration, before attending Funny Moon Festival: (Actually we would wish that this section is just a reminder for you since you know this already.) • Ensure that you have everything to ensure a safe travel to and from the location. (Ticket, Passport, Cash at least for gas, Insurance Papers (Green insurance card) Do not carry big amounts of cash in your wallet, Map.) • Bring only what you really need. Leave everything precious that you don’t need at home. But really bring what you need. (Medication, Smoking supplies, some food) • If you like a fireplace, join the community fire. Fields don’t like to burn and tents are flammable. Use cooking and lighting gear wisely and with caution. Bring some warm gear to be free to enjoy the party whenever you want. • You are welcome to bring your dog, but think twice before. Dogs are predators and a festival is a stressful situation. Animals are not psychedelic and the chaos of smells and sounds is stressful to them. Be aware that it could eat something it shouldn’t or react differently than in an everyday situation. Dogs might attack other dogs, or even children out of no reason. Make sure your dog is not hunting in the forest and please ensure to clean up behind him and teach your dog not to mark tents or decoration. Walk your dog outside the festival frequently so it can calm down and gets used to keep the area clean. • Ensure sufficient consumption of water and food for yourself, family (and your pet). • Don’t force yourself to stay awake for days. It causes confusion, which often results in unconscious behavior like (aggression, depression, littering) • Leave no trace – attitude. Remove your trash. Bring your own garbage bags. Do not leave the bags somewhere in the forest or just where your tent was. During and after the festival please use the designated areas for disposal. Carry an ashtray with you or dispose your cigarette buds in a garbage bag near you. • Do not operate engines or sound systems in the parking or camping area. We all like to have a wonderful experience in nature and noise and exhausts are disturbing. Not everyone likes to be part of a private techno party in and around your car. Or if you think your Air-condition is way to cool to stay off or suitable to cool your Champaign you might consider to join another festivity. • If you have a severe psychological problem, with or without the consumption of certain substances, that is harmful to others, please save yourself the way to this festival. • Do not bring weapons (guns, knives, hatchets) and do not carry them on you, even if it’s only your cooking tool. The organizers reserve the right to reject or void entry to the festival with given reason. |
